We are such stuff as dreams are made on

-Shakespeare's The Tempest

You do look, my son, in a moved sort,
moved sort=troubled or agitated state
As if you were dismay'd. Be cheerful, sir.
dismay'd=filled with fear
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
revels=merry-making
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
foretold you=told you before
Are melted into air, into thin air,
melted=vanished
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
baseless=without foundation, unworldly
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
globe=globe + Globe Theater in London
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
it inherit=possess it (the globe)
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
rack=vapor or cloud
As dreams are made on, and our little life
dreams are made on=dreams are made of
Is rounded with a sleep.
rounded with a sleep=surrounded by a sleep (it begins with a sleep and ends with one)

You do look, my son, in a moved sort,
As if you were dismay'd. Be cheerful, sir.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air,
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
