I dwell in possibility

I dwell in possibility,
possibility=the poet's imagination
A fairer house than prose,
More numerous of windows,
Superior for doors,

Of chambers as the cedars,
chambers=bedrooms
cedars=a forest of cedars
Impregnable of eye,
of eye=of prying eyes
And for an everlasting roof
The gambrels of the sky.
gambrel=a type of roof

Of visitors the fairest,
For occupation this:
The spreading wide my narrow hands
To gather Paradise.
Paradise=creations of the imagination





 I dwell in possibility,
A fairer house than prose,
